Why Are Google Ads 5 Times More Expensive?
What if we tell you that you can dominate Google with SEO alone? Don’t believe us? Read this article about how the Google algorithm provides free traffic to a selected allocation of websites, and you will never have to pay for Google Ads again!
Why are Google Ads 5 times more expensive than organic SEO?
Many practices depend on Google Ads as it’s the next best alternative outside PPO plans to get plenty of new patients. Some dental practices spend $50,000 – $60,000 yearly on Google Ads, while some even spend $10,000+ a month. So if you have no other choice, spend on Google Ads. It is still way cheaper than PPO plans, where you may spend even half of what you produce, given the insurance write-offs (difference between your usual, customary and reasonable fees and what the insurance company pays you) being 45% to 55%.
Google made $209.49 billion in 2021 just from ads. 75% of the countries in the world make less than what Google makes from Ads every year. Google grows its ad revenue each year by charging you a bit more every year.
The other reason these Ads are expensive is you need at least 6 people from Google ads to make up for 1 person who finds you from Google organic. Why? A person from Google Ad will spend an average of 15 seconds on your Dental Website. A person from Google SEO will spend an average of 90 seconds. The person who found you via SEO and spends 6 times more time on your website is at least six times more likely to choose you than someone who finds you by clicking on an ad. When a user clicks on an ad, they click with suspicion as they know anyone can pay and buy the ad. That doubt makes the visitor look for reasons to leave the site. Hence, this is why you need six times more people visiting your website through Google Ads. As a result, Google Ads are at least six times more expensive than organic SEO methods.
How Can You Dominate Google Through Organic SEO Alone?
For Google to make $209 billion in 2021 from ads, it has to make sure most dentists and other business owners have no choice but to pay for Ads. They do that by allowing only 5% of dental practices and web pages to get 95% of the free (SEO) traffic. Thus, the 95% of dental practice owners, who don’t get free SEO traffic, have no choice but to pay Google Billions every year to get new patients.
So the question is how to be among the top 5% of dental practices that receive 95% of the Free SEO traffic. To master SEO, we need to understand how the Google algorithm works. The algorithm looks at 200 different criteria and scores each web page. Depending on this score, the algorithm decides whether a specific webpage is in the top 5% or not. These 200 SEO criteria are broken into 6 buckets. You need to get an ‘A’ in all 6 buckets to be included in the top 5%.
